Looking for help with your essay? Need an extra set of eyes on your paper or report? Want to send out a particularly snazzy email? Come to the IHS Writing Center! You’ll get help from an English teacher to take your writing to the next level. The Writing Center operates after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in the school library.

Hey Sixers, just a friendly reminder from the environmental Class to unplug things when you aren’t using them and fun fact, it costs 23 cents a year for each charger plugged in without actually charging anything and remember sixers unplug the plug.

Hey smarty Sixers! Did you know that there’s an SAT Club on campus? Come join SAT Club, where we review each section of the SAT and teach tips, tricks, and provide a helping hand with any academic problem you may run into. Meetings are Wednesday’s, during lunch in A-308. See you there!
Next week on November 12th through November 15th will be Tabletop Gaming Club’s Cardfight Vanguard Tournament. The Entry fee will be $7 with a guaranteed booster pack upon entry. Congratulations to the Independence Cross Country team for performing well at the BVAL League Championships yesterday! From the boys’ team, Armaan Joshi, Jose Villareal, Michael Todd, Ryan Hen, Juggie Ray Heerey, Ethan Cheng, and David Pineda all qualified for CCS Finals. Elvina Vu will be competing at CCS Finals and representing the girls XC team. CCS Finals will held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Crystal Springs. Go Sixers!
