Ready, set, go! This is your daily bulletin for Thursday, February 13th, 2020. 

  1. Today is day four of IHS Week of Love! Thank you everyone for dressing out for Stoplight Day! Come out to senior stage for some speed dating if you’re wearing green! Tomorrow is Love Galore! Wear red, pink, and white for Valentine’s day! 

  2. Class of 2020 Graduation is closer than you think.  To avoid paying rush charges for your Senior Portraits please call JP Impressions to order or have your website re posted.  They are open most Saturdays for your ordering convenience as well.

  3. Yearbooks are now on sale online and in the A-06 bank for only $65! Buy before February 29th at yearbookordercenter.com, and use the code “6072”! What better way to look back at the year than buying a yearbook! 

  4. Hey Seniors!! Have you taken your senior portraits? Do you want to submit a senior quote for the yearbook? Well now you can! Submit your quote at tinyurl.com/IHSSeniorQuotes2020, again, tinyurl.com/IHSSeniorQuotes2020, or go to @ihs.yearbookclub and click the link in their bio. 

  5. Can you make flyers and videos? Do you want to be more involved with the school? Do you want to improve your leadership skills? Apply to be ASB Historian for the 2020-2021 term! Apply though the link, tinyurl.com/ASBHistorianApp and apply today! Applications are due February 23rd!

  6. Still hesitant on applying or want to learn some tips and tricks to design? Attend our historian workshop TODAY, February 13th in the iCafé from 3:15-5pm! It’s open to everyone who’s interested in learning something new! Hope to see you soon! 

  7. If any clubs are still interested in signing up for Multi Rally, WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING CLUBS! 

  8. Hey hey everyone! Acts of Random Kindness and UNICEF will be having a movie night tomorrow, Friday, February 14th, from 3:30-5:30 at D-Commons! We will be showing “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2,” and admission to watch is FREE! Come and watch with your friends!

  9. SASHES ARE GOING UP AGAIN!! Sashes will be additional $5 after this Friday, February 14!! HURRY and  Come to the sewing room tomorrow after school at A-05 and place your orders! See you soon!!

  10.   (READ AS A POEM) Hey single mingles & love doveys! / Valentine’s Day is nearing, / show love to those endearing! / Send a hand-crocheted rose, with candy & your prose. / Yellow, pink, white, or red, / one for a friend or the one you might wed. / On sale Monday to Friday in A-05 @ lunch / Buy from Sewing club, just one or a bunch! 

  11.  Key Club will be selling Valentine’s Day grams! Today is the last day to order! We’ll be selling heart-shaped rice krispie treats along with cute gran designs for only $2. However, you can pay an addition $1 for a balloon! If interested, be sure to contact any Key Club board member or officer. 

  12. Hey hey everyone! Today is the LAST day to buy UNICEF Valentines Day grams. We are selling two churros from Costco for $2! Come see any UNICEF officer or board member if you’re interested. Thank you!

  13. Hey Sixers! Winter is flying by and Valentines Day is right around the corner. Show your love for your friends and classmates by buying Chess Club’s Brookie Grams, with the frankendessert goodie bag and a personalized note all for only $3! Ask a Chess Club officer to learn how you can support our club and give some joy during the holiday by buying a Brookie Gram for Valentines Day!

  14. It’s tapiokay to be single on Valentine’s Day :)) we still think you’re tea-riffic love 2022, the class of 2022 is selling tpumps tomorrow uring 6th and 7th in front of the pool with the flavors: PMS, Rose Vanilla Black Milk tea, and Tropical Trip with boba, each for $5!

  15. The fourth grading period is flying by, and what better way to celebrate the end of winter than by buying a Valentines Day Gram from the IHS Black Student Union. The grams come with a little heartfelt note and miniature fruit kebabs, all for $2.00! If you want to spread some love and happiness this holiday and support the Black Student Union, ask a member of the club how you can buy some of our Valentines Day Grams!

  16.  The Black Student Union is hosting a book drive to donate to charity for all of Black History Month. Please support BSU by donating any and all books that you can to Room C404 or to Mr. Flournoy before March 1st. Thank you so much and we hope you have a wonderful Black History Month!

  17.  Hey Lovebirds, Pre-Med is selling Valentine Grams for only $3. The gram includes 2 fake roses, a medical themed card, a ferrero rocher, and kisses! Buy from any Pre-Med officer or from an advisor @ K-34 before we sell out! 

  18. San Jose Public Library is celebrating Will Eisner Week which is an Annual Celebration from March 1st to 7th, promoting Comics, Graphic Novel Literacy, Free Speech, and the Legacy of Will Eisner.  Village Square Library near Evergreen High School is having a free film screening that may interest any students that love graphic novels, manga, and cosplay. The award-winning documentary Drawn Together – is a film that traces the fascinating journey of three comic creators who challenge the notion of race, appearance, and gender stereotypes through cartoons, comics and cosplay. Come celebrate with us!

  19.  This friday come support the seniors of the boys basketball and girls soccer team as they play their last home game ever! Boys basketball will be playing against Willow Glen freshmen @4  frosh/soph@ 5:30, varsity @7 AND gIRLS SOCCER will be playing against yerba buena, Jv @ 4 and Varsity @6 

  20.  If you haven’t already, come support our boys soccer team as they celebrate their seniors tonight, #8 Brandon, #13 Thanh, #11 Israel #6 Akshath (ACH SHA) ! there are playing against our rivals the Piedmont Pirates! Jv is at 5 and varsity @ 7
