Indy-Activities
The ACE Mentor program is back. ACE is a free, after-school program where you can learn more about architecture, construction, and engineering through guest speakers, interactive activities, and connect with other students that have the same interests as you. Email sj2@acesfbayarea.org for more information and to get the info session registration link.

Clubs
Interact Club meetings are every Thursday during lunch at C-Commons! We offer community service, leadership, and INTERACT-ive opportunities for high school students. Come to our general meetings for a meeting activity, and to find out about any of our upcoming events!
Recycling Club meets every Tuesday during 7th period!
Sports
As you may already know, Independence High School fields a swim-and-dive team in the spring sports season and practices will start on January 30th. On Thursday after school, Coach Martinez will be at the front gate to the aquatic center, next to the boys locker room, answering all questions and addressing all concerns you may have about joining our team. Whether you are a learning or experienced swimmer, this is a great way to stay in shape! Come on out to the Q and A!

Attention Seniors, here are TWO announcements specific to you and graduation: First, If you missed the graduation gear event, seniors can continue to order all their graduation needs from our vendor at hjgradstore.com. AND, Second, don’t forget to reserve your senior portrait sessions! Senior Portraits are being held at Now & Forever Studios. Check the Mr. Berg’ weekly emailed newsletter for more info. Online reservations can be made at now and forever studio.com. The Holiday Break is an excellent time to get your senior portrait snapped and cataloged!
