GOOOOOD MORNINGG SIXERS! This is your daily bulletin for Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. 

1. Class of 2020 Graduation is closer than you think.  To avoid paying rush charges for your Senior Portraits please call JP Impressions to order or have your website re posted.  They are open most Saturdays for your ordering convenience as well.

2. Yearbooks are now on sale online and in the A-06 bank for only $65! Buy before the end of February before the price rises again! What better way to look back at the year than buying a yearbook!

3. School making you insane? Support 2022’s fundraiser with Tisane! Class of 2022 is selling Tisane drinks on Friday the 17th during 6th and 7th in front of the pool with the flavors Golden, Blush, and Sugar Hill for only $5!

4. IHS Smash is hosting a Super Smash Brothers tournament with a prize pool for those who place Top 8. There is an entry fee of 2 dollars, and signups end this Friday. Be sure to come swing by D-312 at lunch to sign up today!

1. Hi Sixers! The independence track & field team is holding an informational meeting on January 17th during lunch at M-39 in Mr.Pryor’s room. This is a meeting being held to invite all athletes who are interested in joining the team this season! Come join our crazy family!

2. There will be an informational meeting for the boys volleyball team at lunch today in I-Cafe.  Last year we were league champions and this year we are playing in the A League and need committed, high level players…come see what it’s all about….today, at lunch in I-Cafe….hope you’re ready for this! 

3. Hey chess clubbers! Chess Club is having its weekly meeting today, at D-405 so stop on by because we are puzzling and strategizing for the future of this club! Again, Chess Club is meeting in D-405 during lunch today for our weekly meeting. Hope to see you all there!

4. All boys interested in playing golf this spring come and sign up with Coach B in room D312. Again all boys interested in playing on the GOLF team this spring need to see Coach B in room D312 at Break or Lunch.

5. Congratulations  to Sophomore Joshua Belfield of Independence High School Football on being selected to the U.S. National Football Team! Support our #76ers by streaming the International Bowl on ESPN! #76ers #respectthestar ✭

6. Are you ready to move those hips Sixers? Come to Manava’s very first official practice TODAY at the shadows from 3:20-4:30, Remember, today so come on out!

7.  ASB applications are out in A-06. If you’re interested in leadership, don’t hesitate to apply! They will be due on the 22nd so no rush!

8. Calling all clubs! There will be an ICC meeting today in A-Commons during lunch.

9. Are you an animal lover? Do you want to connect with other animal lovers who strive to protect animals around the world? If you said yes, come join T.A.I.L.S., which stands for “Treat Animals with Importance, Love, and Sincerity”. As a club, we aim to help the animal community. Our first meeting of the decade is today during lunch at C405, Mr. Haworth’s room. We hope to see you there!
